Quick Update & Praise Report!

I have been meaning to get online and post pictures, video and updates and just haven't been able to yet. Fast access Internet does not come down our dirt road (some people might say we live in the "boonies" - we like to say it's quiet out here), so uploading things from home can be a challenge! Trying to get back in the swing of things has been hectic, but also really great. I have an opportunity next week to speak at a local civic organization about the world-wide orphan crisis and to tell them about our new orphan ministry, Precious In His Sight. This will be my first speaking engagement and I hope to be prepared and able to convey our message. We enjoyed the Memorial Day weekend with my family. Also, we are very excited for Faith. She accepted Jesus as her Savior last fall and wants to be baptized. She went forward at church Sunday and is going to be baptized this coming Sunday. I will post pictures - we are so proud of her. It keeps us focused on the ultimate motivation behind bringing Anya home. We want her to have a personal relationship with Jesus too! Only in Him is there eternal hope.
We have an answer to prayer already! We have received information from our adoption agency about our Medical requirements. St. Petersburg is now requiring an eight-doctor medical examination. We have been praying that we will not have to have this done in Russia. We have found out that the judge they believe our case will be assigned to is allowing all of the medical information to be gathered here in the States. We are very relieved. We now have the challenge of seeing 8 doctors in the next couple of weeks & having all of our paperwork in order, but we are just excited to be able to have all of this done at home. Thank you all for praying! We have not received our US Immigration approval for Anya yet. Please pray that it will be processed soon. Also, please continue to pray that the judge will waive the 10 day waiting period so we can bring Anya home quickly. We are hoping for a court date by the end of July.
