Long Vacations

Okay... apparently, Russians like to vacation! There has been some mix up about our judge returning from vacation this week. She is actually going to return on September 1st and our case will be presented on September 4th. The judge that is on duty right now is booked until October, but the judge returning from vacation should have openings in September (so they say!), so that is actually good news. It is possible that we travel sometime in late September. We are working on having our GBI fingerprint certificate renewed and we will most likely have to have our 8-doctor medical report re-done. There is no way to know for sure until the judge returns and they ask if she will consider our medicals as valid because they are filed before expired or if we will have to have a valid date at the time of the court hearing. We will probably go ahead and start getting some signatures so we don't have to start this all over at the last minute.

We should know something around September 8th or 9th. In some ways this year has gone by quickly and in others, the past 7 month wait has gone by very slowly.
