Discouraging News

We have received some discouraging news today. The director of our adoption agency emailed us to let us know why it is taking so long for us to receive our court date. Due to some circumstances in Russia that we are not at liberty to discuss, our case (& the cases of some other families) will not be presented to the court until August 12th. Hopefully, at that time we will receive a court date. I'm not sure when we would actually travel, but hopefully just a couple of weeks later. It looks like now it will be at least early September before we are able to bring Anya home. Please pray that once our case is presented there are no further delays. We are very anxious over the wait and I know when school starts for Anya on September 1st she will wonder why we haven't come. We have only been able to get in touch with her by sending letters and I pray that her care-givers will help her understand that adoption takes time. Please keep the court process in your prayers. We are anxious to get through this stage!
