URGENT - Prayer Request

"Rejoice evermore. Pray without ceasing. In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you" (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18, KJV).

Please join with us today as we praise God for what He has done for us thus far in our journey to bring Anya home and as we pray without ceasing for Him to move the mountains ahead of us. Tomorrow morning in St. Petersburg, all of our documents will be presented to our judge. At that time, she should assign us a court date and decide whether to register our documents as valid or require us to re-do our medicals before court (our medicals are currently valid, but will expire before our court date). We are praying that God would move on the heart of this judge to not only assign us a court date that is very soon, but to also register all of our documents as valid and ask for nothing further. We are also praying that she will be moved to waive the 10-day waiting period so we can bring Anya home with us after our court hearing (otherwise we will have to return for a 3rd trip in order to bring her home). Tomorrow is a very critical day for us and it will all most likely occur while we are sleeping tonight. St. Petersburg is 8 hours ahead of us, so at midnight tonight it will be 8:00 AM there. I expect that our documents will be presented sometime between midnight and 4:00 AM (which would be between 8:00 AM - Noon there). We are praying that we will receive favor in the sight of the judge and all who handle our case. Please pray for this situation today and should you awaken sometime in the night tonight, please pray for our judge, for Anya and for us. We humbly ask you to pass this along to any prayer warriors in your life who would be willing to lift us up to the Father today. We know that with Him all things are possible. There are certainly some things that seem impossible and we have been told to prepare for the worst, but we are fervently praying for the best.
