Travel Plans...

We have our flights and hotel booked for our next trip. All I need to do now is get our visas and figure out what to wear in the snow! We will be leaving on November 19th from Atlanta. We'll make a stop in Chicago and then Frankfurt before arriving in St. Petersburg on November 20th. On the 21st, we will go to the orphanage to visit with Anya and complete any official documents that will be needed prior to court. Saturday and Sunday are not official working days, so it will be up to the orphanage director to allow us to visit with Anya on the 22nd & 23rd. On the 24th, we will be in court and then on the 25th, we will fly home. We are getting very excited about this trip and are ready to see Anya! We hope to be able to spend a lot of time with her while we are there. Jack and I are still trying to decide what we should do about the final trip. Right now, we are thinking that I may return along with another adoptive mom who will be traveling at the same time. The final trip will be about 10 days and we think it will be less expensive for only me to travel and be able to share expenses with another family. Also, it will be much easier on Faith & Caleb to have one of their parents home with them during that time. We have several decisions to make about that trip, so please be praying for us. If only one of us makes the final trip, it will be quite a challenge just getting everything over in 2 suitcases. In addition to the normal packing requirements, we will have to take 10 days worth of clothes for Anya along with boots, winter coat, hat, gloves, etc. We also have all the gifts for officials and the going away party at the orphange to bring. We also have to decide whether to take a plane from St. Petersburg to Moscow or a train. I'm leaning toward the train because their airline doesn't seem to be too safe, but the train will take much longer. I'm not sure how Anya's motion sickness will be on a train. Okay... now my brain is just spinning and I'm rambling, so I'll close... thank you all for your support!
